Contributing to the
Community

At Rawson Group, we believe in giving back to the communities in which we do business, and contributing in a positive way to society as a whole.

Rawson Group engages in significant community sponsorship, giving back at a grassroots level. We sponsor a wide variety of local sporting activities such as netball teams, football teams and surf lifesaving clubs. We engage in sponsorship activities in all the areas we operate in, including Canberra, the Hunter Valley, Central Coast, Sydney and regional NSW. Many of our sponsorships are long-term, with some even spanning 25 years.

In collaboration with the NSW Property Industry Foundation and Parkview, Rawson Group built a 6-bedroom home for the Kari Foundation, a leading indigenous charity, to provide accommodation for Aboriginal children leaving long-term foster care and transitioning to independent living, helping them embrace a brighter future.

We are a proud supporter of Blue Wren House run by Camden Women’s shelter. The shelter opened in November 2021 and provides safe, supported accommodation for women (and their children) who are escaping domestic and family violence.

We also partner with Job Support, a leading employment service for people with mild intellectual disabilities, to provide suitable employment opportunities in our head office in Rhodes.

Charitable causes we support at a corporate level include Beyond Blue, and we regularly engage in office fundraising through morning teas for a number of worthy causes.
